Holding You As You Hold Your Clients

This work is beautiful, inspiring, and it can be a lot to carry. Relational therapy asks us to hold many layers at once: attachment and protection, attunement and misattunement, rupture and repair, and the dynamic relationship between ourselves and our clients.

For 50 minutes at a time, we offer our presence and lend our nervous systems to each and every client. We attune, co-regulate, and stay close to what’s emerging, adapting our responses to what the moment calls for and following the glimmers of transformance as they appear.

Those of us who practice within this frame know how powerful it can be, for both the client and therapist. We may love and feel deeply nourished by our work and still find it complex, taxing, and isolating to hold alone.

Clinical consultation offers a place for you to be held, too. A space to slow down, feel accompanied, and root more deeply into your truest self as a clinician.

Hi, I’m Chadley

I found my therapeutic home in relational therapy, specifically AEDP, after my very first session with an AEDP therapist. At the time, I was early in my training at a two year post-graduate marriage and family therapy program and searching for something different in my own therapy after years of cognitive and behavioral approaches. I left that first session feeling deeply held on multiple levels. Not only did I find the personal support I’d been looking for, but I also resonated profoundly with the framework itself - discovering a way of working I didn’t even know was out there as a budding therapist.

That experience shaped the entire trajectory of my practice. It bolstered me in my specialization in childhood attachment trauma and sparked my passion for supporting other therapists who are seeking a similar space to be held in their own work.

Alongside relational therapy and AEDP, I also integrate EMDR, parts work, attachment theory, feminist therapy, systemic therapy, and somatic approaches. I’m invigorated by how these modalities can be woven together cohesively - with attunement and intention - rather than existing as a disconnected application of interventions. I also offer business consultation for therapists in private practice, another space where I’m passionate about undoing aloneness within our field.

areas of specialty:

  • Helping you bring your full self into the work

Your authenticity and openheartedness are your greatest assets in this work. Maybe your previous training stripped that away, or maybe your own protective parts sometimes stand between you and your authentic presence. Together, we’ll work to unburden those blocks so you can show up fully as yourself - in service of both your own well-being and your clients’ healing.

  • Deepening your clinical skills

We’ll help you translate theory into the fluid, moment-to-moment experience of therapy. Some areas of focus include:

    • Micro-tracking and responding to affect, somatic shifts, and attachment signals in real time

    • Integrating multiple frameworks cleanly without feeling scattered or protocol-bound

    • Working beneath surface symptoms to facilitate deep, transformational change

    • Unpacking complex clinical stuckness and countertransference with clarity and nuance

  • Supporting you experientially

Utilizing video-based consultation with recordings of your sessions allows us to lean into your work together as it’s unfolding in real time. We get to undo aloneness and live out our own version of the work - where we experience and explore change together in the room, not just talk about it or plan for integration later.

  • Expanding your capacity for presence and attunement

Helping you stay with your clients through the heaviest and most uncertain moments, without feeling pulled to fix, manage, or retreat from the emotional process into insight alone. This work often takes a two-pronged approach: making space for your own internal experience while also exploring the theory, interventions, and clinical choices that can help you meet your client more fully in the moment.

My Approach to Consultation

Clinical consultation comes alive when the clinical and practical are held within a relational frame.

I view myself as a collaborative partner in your process of growth, learning, and transformation. I’m beside you in the work as a steady supporter, thoughtful encourager, and gentle challenger, but I’m not the sole expert in the room. Just as you gather wisdom from your clients, I’ll gather wisdom from you, and together we’ll co-create a path forward.

My aim is to cultivate a space where you feel just as comfortable bringing the messiest moments as you do the flowy, transformational ones. I’ll meet you with warmth, curiosity, celebration, and deep respect for your clinical intuition.

I’ll also draw attention to the subtle moments that may otherwise go unnoticed, including both the places where meaningful change is already unfolding and the places that may be asking for your attunement.

My hope is that our relationship becomes a secure base for your continued growth: a place where you can stretch, experiment, and bring forward the parts of your work that feel most tender or unfinished, while experiencing care and holding for your whole clinical self.
