Build a Practice That Supports You, Too
So many therapists enter private practice hoping for more freedom and a deeper connection to their work, only to find themselves stretched thin by everything happening behind the scenes: finances, systems, marketing, admin, and the constant question of whether this can actually be sustainable long term.
You take such great care of your clients. It’s entirely possible to build a practice that supports you, too: one that honors your capacity and values while giving you the systems, structure, and financial foundation you need to stay in this work for the long haul.
You don't have to figure it out alone, and you don't have to buy into hustle culture to get there. Whether you’re in the tender beginning stages of forming your LLC or navigating complexities within an already thriving practice, I’m here to partner with you as you find your path forward and build a business that is unmistakably yours.

Meet Chadley, Business Consultant for Therapists
Your behind the scenes partner in practice building
I’ve always been perplexed by the prevalence - and often the expectation - of aloneness in our field. As therapists, we dedicate our entire careers to undoing aloneness with our clients, yet so often operate in isolation ourselves.
We are craving connection.
I noticed this need in myself first, as the hyper-independent, parentified child in me worked tirelessly to build and expand my practice quickly, hoping I could create some built-in community along the way. I then felt it through the reaches for connection from colleagues who were tired and longing for an avenue where they didn’t have to figure it all out on their own.
It was through this shared need that my group practice and consulting work were born.
My Journey as a Solo and Group Practice Owner
the beginning
I launched my solo practice in May 2020 and fell in love with every aspect of it. It filled both my clinical and entrepreneurial heart in all the right ways. In 2021, I unexpectedly hired my first therapist when an opportunity arose, then spent the next few years scaling my group. Eventually, I slowed down enough to realize how much of myself I had lost along the way.
the honest look
What looked successful from the outside no longer felt life-giving on the inside. I had to take a hard look at what I actually wanted, not just where my business was taking me, and grieve the version of my practice I lost touch with. I deeply missed the spaciousness of solo practice and the room it gave me to grow in all areas of my life, not just work, and I wanted that back.
the return
In 2024, I began intentionally downsizing my group and re-centering myself in my business. Even though I never stopped the one-on-one clinical and consulting work I love most, it felt so good to root fully back into it and clear out the noise. I became happier, healthier, and more like myself. I redefined what expansion meant to me, which wasn’t growth in the traditional sense.
the lesson
One of the most important things I’ve learned through my journey is that your practice does not have to stay the same simply because something once worked or because you once set out to reach a particular goal. Private practice can, and should, adapt with you across seasons of your life and career. That’s one of the greatest beauties of it. Permission to pivot became the motto.
finding your path forward
Consultation is about helping you craft your own version of expansiveness, spaciousness, and growth within this beautiful, raw, and sometimes overwhelming career - whether you’re brand new to private practice or have years under your belt.
Expansiveness might mean building and scaling a group practice. It might also mean starting your practice with intention from day one, or giving yourself permission to pivot when something no longer works. That could look like simplifying, refining, earning more with less strain, or making more room for the parts of yourself that exist outside of your business.
I don’t believe there’s one right answer to the question, What’s next for my practice? And I won’t try to sell you one. If we let it, our business can serve as a mirror, reflecting what matters most to us, where we’re getting in our own way, and the agency we have to move towards what we actually want. Let’s get curious about that together.

You don’t have to do this alone.
A Relational Approach To Private Practice Consultation
I’m not here because you’re incapable of doing this all on your own (you’re not!) I just don’t believe you should have to.
I don’t claim to have all the answers or a hidden key that will solve every problem in your practice. What I do offer is a steady, thoughtful partnership where we can slow down, look honestly at what’s working and what isn’t, and build toward your version of success.
I view my role as a co-conspirator in your practice building process, offering gentle reflection, inviting curiosity, and supporting you as you root into connection with yourself, your needs, and your values.
And while collaboration is the foundation of our work, you’ll also receive practical support along the way. I may share spreadsheets I created while building my own practice, guides, trusted referrals, and pieces of my own lived experience when they feel useful to what you’re navigating.
a glimpse into our process
-
01 / The Discovery Call
Just like therapy, fit is everything.
We’ll hop on a complimentary 20-minute call to talk through what you’re bringing, explore the ways I can support you, and get an overall feel for our collaborative connection.
-
02 / Practice Assessment
A deep dive into your business landscape and goals.
Before we meet, you’ll complete a comprehensive, 10+ page guide. It serves as both a practical assessment of where your practice stands right now and a reflection tool to guide your goals, values, and desires for where you want it to go.
-
03 / One-On-One Consultations
Dedicated space carved out entirely for you.
A regular, intentional container to focus on whatever is most present and in need of support. You set the agenda, though I’m always here to offer structure and guidance. Whether we meet for a targeted two-session deep dive or partner bi-weekly across several months, this space is yours to use how you need it most.
-
04 / Tailored Resources
Curated support, at your pace.
Instead of throwing the kitchen sink at you off the bat, I’ll share curated resources along the way that meet you exactly where you’re at. Our shared Google Drive will serve as your personal resource hub throughout and after our work together.
-
05 / Wrap-Around Support
Virtual connection between our sessions.
Our work doesn’t start and end with the time we spend one-on-one. If you hit a roadblock, have a quick question, or just need encouragement between our calls, I’m available to you via email.
Three ways to partner, built around the current season of your practice
